Powerful Tools for technical Sales & Project Planning

The standardized P'X5™ software suite forms the technical basis for customer-specific solutions. Our broad range of flexible functionality can be adapted to the particular product and business needs of our clients.

The leading technological combination of sales optimization and product lifecycle management allows the P'X5™ software suite to achieve both process-comprehensive product knowledge management and efficient execution of sales tasks.

P’X5™ Software Suite

Five “engines” form the nucleus of the powerful P'X5™ software suite:

P’X5™ Configuration Engine: masters the most complex configuration tasks, provides spatial planning functionality, and controls the generation and mutation of parts lists for sales, production, and service.

P’X5™ Sales Engine: provides functions for the e-catalog, project-oriented sales, sales-oriented calculation and price determination, offer generation and order processing.

P’X5™ Presentation Engine: provides comfortable interaction and visualization in 3D, 2D, and text; supports the generation and output of various documents such as Word and PDF, among others.

P’X5™ Connectivity Engine: permits the smooth exchange of master and order data between P'X5™ and the CAD, PDM, ERP and CRM systems in the IT backbone.

P’X5™ Content Engine: provides product knowledge managers with powerful tools for harmonizing sales-related product information, as well as for maintaining the product knowledge base.

P’X5™ Product Knowledge Base

The key to optimizing high-level and internal company business processes lies in building up a unified product information architecture that integrates commercial, technical, and geometric product data.

  • With interfaces to existing IT systems in CAD, PDM, ERP, and CRM, P'X5™ builds bridges between sales, engineering, and logistics.
  • Knowledge about product lines, valid and invalid variants, or configuration restrictions are combined with other boundary conditions in a consistent, object-oriented rule framework.
  • Rules include both geometric-spatial and parametric-logical aspects, influencing the areas of project organization, layout planning, price determination, and after-sales service.
  • The product knowledge base serves as “integration middleware”, unifying the related data pools found in the ERP, CAD, and PDM systems along with other databases and Excel sheets etc..
  • The linking of material master data, parts lists, product variants, articles with prices, documents, etc. via XML has been validated in many projects, and has established itself world-wide as a standard process in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI).
